World of Tanks Blitz PVP App Reviews

When the game is working it is one of the best multiplayer online games I have played, and I play a lot of games. The issue is that they cannot seem to solve their latency issues, which appear to be unrelated to bandwidth. Even if you have a good internet connection with good up and down mbps links, you never know when the game is going to lag out so bad you cannot play. Couple that with the fact that the game takes a lot of credits to do anything, and the game is barely tolerable if you play for free, and beyond acceptable if you actually pay for game time. If you have not already loaded this app, I would pass until they work out the bugs in their server side latency

It is a very nice game but they they need to tone down thier greed and get ther act together in developing thier web site to be ready for the all regions. 1) They say they increased the profitability with the latest version, I do not bleive it. If you are new wait on spending money. 2) They look like they are not fully prepared to work with all regions. For example to enhance security they send you an email suggesting that you add your phone number. When you go through the process it does not work. I contacted support and they give you a confused exlaination. They said they are not ready to support phone number with country code of 2 digits. The funny think is that my country code is 3 digits!!!! It is still a 4start game but they got some work to do.

Never loads… been waiting 30 mins. and nothing has happened...

Game is expensive to play until you get a little experience. There is a major flaw during every game, of tanks totally disappearing while you are engaging them. Frustrating more than entertaining.

By far, the best War Game I’ve ever played. It is designed well and continues to improve with every update. While loaded with detail and history, it is simple to understand with no overly complicated stategies or “cheats”. Like most games of this type, it can get into your wallet if you let it. However, purchases are truly optional unlike other “free” downloads - by that, I mean you CAN have fun without spending loads of $$$ (more fun with a little $$$ here and there to rush an upgrade). In this game, you are paired with 7 random teammates each battle. You won’t always get good team mates and unfortunatly some members are very negitave/crtitcal towards others. If you can expect and ingnore a few crude players, its really fun! (thankfully the profanity filter prevents it from ever going too far).

This game is awesome for players who stay dedicated and improve their game. Some of the reviewers below are confused and incorrect about their assumptions. This game is not pay to play. It is completely free; it’s chock full of in-game purchases, but you can successfully get to the top Tier through careful playing and dedication. Other reviewers complain about the vulgarity and the swearing in game: this is an online game, you’ll find trolls and vulgar comments on any massive online game you find. They complain that their little children are exposed to bad influences, but this game is for 12 years and older, so some people obviously didn’t follow the age rating. If you utilize the tons of resources provided by the company Wargaming, including the forums and the wikipedia, you can truly enjoy the fill extent of this game. If you stay loyal and play a bit everyday, you’ll be on your way! The amount of tanks is mind-blowing, and while there are a few imbalances in the power of some tanks, Wargaming constantly monitors the statistics and releases great updates every month or so.

What happened to the whole ships idea coming to Blitz in 3.1.0??

This is by far the best game i have ever played! WHile many people prefer the heavier hard hitting tanks, they are much slower and takes forever to move about the battlefield. I like the small fast tanks, While they dont hit as hard, Its a lot harder to hit them and makes it easy to get up close and personal where even basic ammunition becomes deadly. Using the small fast tanks i average 4 out of 7 tank kills per game. SImply because its harder to hit my tank and i can get right up on them , move back and forth making it difficult if not impossible for the bigger and slower tank turrents to put me in their sights. Making it easy for my tank to kill it. I cant rave enough about this game! For those about to Quack! We Salute yoU!

Awesome Game, amazing graphics and gameplay. Difficult to master, and takes time to learn, but its totally worth it! and to DatGuy review, battleships were never coming to blitz, theres a map that has a battleship in it from the new update.

I want artillery! After playing this one and then trying it on the Xbox, this is a joke.

I have over 6000 battles in WoT Blitz and I’m somewhat addicted. Today the game would not run, insisting on being updated and sending me to the App Store. The App Store button only says Open, not Update and clicking it just returns you to the older version of the game. Needless to say I’m going through withdrawal.

The Yamato is on a map, not actually playable. Also the game’s good, but the players can get pretty obsolete up at Tier V.

Havent been able to log in after the update? has anyone else had this problem? Love the game just cant get back in!

This game is top notch all the way. The physics seem real and the scenery is very well done. For anyone who likes war games, this could be a must-have. The only negative I find is that at some point you have to spend some money to continue the game. In the game you use sliver coins to replenish your tank’s supplies, repair damage to it and buy more ammunition. You earn those silver coins by winning battles and inflicting (a lot of) damage to enemy tanks. But unless you’re a premium member it’s very difficult to earn silver coins. Premium members earn silver coins and experience points at 1.5 times that of a regular membership. Without that boost, unless you’re a super warrior, you’re likely to lose coins after each battle until you don’t have enough left to buy more ammunition. To get the premium membership, or a stock of silver coins, you must use gold coins. Those you can either buy for cash or possibly win for completing a mission. I’ve been playing for a few months and haven’t had a mission assignment yet where I could earn gold coins (and they probably wouldn’t be in large amounts anyway). So you’ll have to spend some real money to buy the coins. I don’t begrudge the company this, they have put together a fantastic game and spent a lot of time on it - and continue to, but be aware that you likely won’t coast through the game without at some point anteing up some cash.

The game is great, but there is just one problem. One question: How long does it take to download the update? 3 days is what it says on my mac, for 1.78 GB. That’s how long the game size is. It used to say the update is 569 Mb, but my internet failed once,and it is increasing the file size, and then it says 1.78 GB. I already have the game, and a new spot is opening on the file. Also, I tried downloading 3.1.0 and it did. At least for 2 days. Then it said to redownload that file, even when it said it was already updated. And in the game, ping is within the 100’s, then it stops and freezes and goes on normally again. It is annoying when you are runnning away from the enemy, as you can’t tell where you are going. Please fix it and don’t send any updates for some time, as this is what happens. Thank you for creating such a good game, and I will always continue to play it.

I thought it would be boring but I totally recommend it to people who want fun free games.

The game is great in every aspect. Very balanced, and the game is not a pay to win. The game is good if the tank fits your play style, for example, you could be a sniper at the back, a brawler that does the up close and personal action, etc. It has some good features like the training room, which you don’t need a premium account to make. But the problem is that from tier 5-10, every 1 out of 5 games that there is a rude person. When he dies, he starts calling others “Noobs”, “Idiots”, and phrases like “Delete the game you noob” or “Terrible team” and they cannot admit that they have been outplayed or they did not work together. It’s my favorite game, but the normal players have to deal with this a lot, and I can’t say anything or else it will put the focus of his hate to me. Its great, I love the game, but the toxiticty is overwhelming.

Great game! Excellent! been playing well over a year and each update only makes it better! Love the diversity of the tanks and the mechanics to them. I played original PC WoT and it was terrible compared to this one. Matchmaking is fair and spot on, battles are fast paced and rarely take a long time to finish. Upgrades are based on experience and not on silver coins! one of the best games I have ever played.
